In YLF- Beyond Dar Campaign we have managed to reach small entreprenuers and learnt how they make money through solar energy.
Red Pemba or Udongo is made by special sand obtained at the border of Tanzania and Burundi while white pemba's sand is obtained in burundi.
Mr.Mganga of Mwandiga Kigoma has managed to employ more than five people working with him to make pembe ,he sells pemba for Tshs.100 per piece and Tshs.4000 per bag as whole sale.
Pemba is well dried by natural sunlight energy hence making it even cheaper to produce.
White pemba is mostly consumed in Kigoma and Tabora while Red is mostly consumed in Dar es Salaam,Morogoro and Dodoma.
